Filming a tiger in the wild has been one of my greatest pleasures – we need to make sure that they remain there for always.

What the Malayan tiger needs now is protection from poachers – with your donations we will be able to put boots on the ground to keep this majestic animal safe.

It will be desperately sad for all Malaysians and the world if the Malayan tiger goes extinct – and on our watch. Unless drastic action is taken now it looks like that is going to happen. Rimau is taking direct, on the ground action working with the local communities to try and prevent it.

The Malayan tiger is the epitome of our jungle.To lose the species is not only a loss of identity but also a loss to the whole ecosystem.

As an APEX predator, The Malayan Tiger needs all our help to not let them be reduced to just pictures in books. We owe it to the future generations.

Natural resource management and Orang Asli customary rights intersect with the effective protection of tigers in our rainforest. We need to see ourselves as part of the natural world rather than separate from it. What we do to nature today will have consequences which will return to us.

The Malayan Tiger or Harimau Malaya is an important symbol of our nation and a species unique to this land. We must do everything we can to prevent this beautiful creature from becoming extinct.
